With ACBF’s support, the West African Institute for Economic and Financial Management (WAIFEM) has trained over 17,000 senior officials in the areas of debt, finance and macroeconomic management.
Prof Akpan Ekpo – DG of WAIFEM affirms "ACBF has assisted us to be proactive and to be abreast with the tools used by multilateral institutions such as the IMF and the World Bank in dealing with our economies” and thinks African Central Banks should use their important role in African economies to mobilize support for ACBF to continue helping the continent to produce development results.
